Today, I thought I would share these vintage seed label containers. As the winter snow collects on the ground, I dream about getting into my gardens again, feeling the cool earth between my fingers. When I garden, I tend to save everything including beautiful seed packets that store the future bounty of summer vegetables and flowers. As a lover of all vintage things, I enjoy the thrill of the hunt. When I was at the Nashville Country Living Fair this past spring, I eyed these seed labels. Piles upon piles of vintage seed labels were to be had. I scooped them up. I had an idea for the perfect garden craft. My potting bench could use some help.
Even though we had a bit of snow last night, I have been very busy puttering around the yard with spring clean up and getting ready for the photo shoot with the book. My favorite spring flowers are pansies. They are so lovely, especially the ruffled variety in this pansy sphere on my front steps. I just adore the blooms and they are entirely edible. The chicken love them!
