Sometimes I think I might be just as addicted to air plants as I am to succulents. Both are super easy to care for and really add so much diversity to my collection of houseplants. For these, I re-purposed some small tins into these magnetic air plant terrariums which are just perfect for my fridge. I think they’d also make a darling gift and favor for parties too.
I love picking up old frames at antique fairs. I just adored this one. I found it at the Vintage Bazaar and I loved that it was already painted this lovely blue. For a few dollars, it came home with me ready to be transformed into a living piece of art. Creating airplant wall art is fun and easy!
I love air plants. Next to succulents, I would have to say that they are another addiction. I tend to hoard them and tuck them in the most unexpected places around my home- small candle dishes, empty tin tea canisters, mason jars, upside down sea urchin shells, even hanging from my kitchen window. I think I love them because they are nearly impossible to kill. Simply mist them with water once a week and keep them out of direct sunlight. They will happily grow and bloom for you without the need for soil. Today, I wanted to share with you this airplant wreath.
