Gardening is in my blood. My grandparents had a garden and florist business out of their home since they immigrated to the United States.

Over the past thirty-five years, I’ve enjoyed getting my hands into the earth.

A few years ago I added movement to the gardens with a small flock of chickens and have even taken up beekeeping.

Some of my most cherished memories have been made outdoors.

I am proud to share those with my family and make new ones together each year. I’ve written quite a bit about gardening- sharing my practical tips, garden design, favorite plants and more.

If you can get your hands on some African blue basil it is the best pollinator plant I have ever had. Covered in bees sunrise to sundown.
That sounds wonderful!
