I don’t have hands that are soft as a baby’s bottom. My hands are continually used and I am rough on them. I get them dirty in the garden, in the chicken coop, at work and with the kids. I wash my hands a lot. There are are times that I treat myself to a manicure, but my manicures are short lived. Inevitably, the polish begins to chip away the next day.
I’ve been wanting to show you all how to make a chicken wreath for a very long time now. It is always so much fun to create animals to deck the halls with wintry greenery. The possibilities are endless. From dogs, cats, sheep, cows, pigs and the like, it is easy with a little imagination to dream them into reality.
A great Valentine’s Day gift to share with those you love is a lovely sugar scrub inspired from my new loves-the honeybees. It is wonderful for those whose skin could use a little TLC during these cold weathered months. I happen to make and use this one year round. For the simple instructions on how to make and share your own, head on over to this post I wrote for on HGTV Garden.
