As winter takes hold, it is easy to fall into the after holiday doldrums. This year for Valentine’s Day I thought it would be nice to create a gardening gift box teeming with gardening goodies for a favorite gardener in my life.
This gardening gift box starts off with a vintage wooden crate found at an outdoor flea market. Many sweet thoughts can fill the sections of this vintage partitioned wooden crate. From soaps for the gardener, small plantings, and a tiny garden statue, all are sure to bring a smile. I’ve also added a jar of my very own honey from the hives. That is a sweet treat that can be indulged in after the garden and mixed with the garden inspired tea.
Every gardener loves a roll of twine. Add one to your gardening gift box and pop in an air plant for a touch of whimsy?
A delightful candle is also sure to awaken your senses indoors.
Garden tools, herbal teas, and small findings such as this pinecone and hydrangea blossom in a vintage blue glass bottle are some of my favorite gardening delights.
Of course this box would not be complete without me adding a succulent or two.
I just can never get over their beauty.

This is a wonderful, beautiful idea as a gift. Even for someone who's not a complete green thumb, this gift could still open doors for someone teetering on the edge of the gardening abyss. 🙂
We were just thinking of what to get our favorite momma for her birthday coming in May. This is going to be it!
This is gorgeous gift! I think this would make anyone's heart go pitter patter!
