Christmas is always at our house. The holiday is one of my all time favorites. We have a ham and all the side dishes. Family and friends are always welcome, especially for those who have no place to go. A few days before Christmas when the kids are off from school, we sit down together and craft the place settings for our guests. This year, I went with a woodland theme. With only a few crafting items, I was able to make these darling birch table place settings. They came together in minutes and they turned out to be a special gift for each guest.
To make these birch table place settings, I purchased wooden snowflakes and these wooden round slices of birch branches. Somehow, I imagined them turning into woodland trees.
The kids and I began to transform these two simple items into trees. Stacking them together one by one.
We topped off each tree with a topper of birch bark and a personalized name tag.
Each guest can take them home as a keepsake.
