Tiny Terrarium Place Settings

November 19, 2014
If you know me, you know that I just adore succulents. When I was chatting with my editor at HGTV Gardens, she had a special request. She asked me to make some succulent filled terrariums that could be used place settings for the upcoming holidays. I happily obliged and created these succulent terrarium place settings.

I quickly transformed glass votive candle holders into darling miniature worlds of succulents.

I created their own little wooden bases too from veneer finishing strips found at the hardware store.

These were easy to make, as I harvested tiny snips of succulents from the “mother” plants.

Fill them with some of your favorites including grapetopetalum, pachyphytum, sedum, crassula and aeonium. For the complete step-by-step directions, please visit my post over on HGTV Gardens.
