As a family, each fall we look forward to going apple picking. We sometimes even do it more than once, as we have several favorite places across New England. This year, we made a canvas apple picking tote just for our adventures. The kids and I worked on this craft together and made block prints from the apples themselves.
Many different fruits and vegetables can be used to make a bag like this. These totes are a fun way to get creative, give as gifts, and take on traditional family outings. To learn the basics of making this tote bag, head on over to HGTV Gardens for the full tutorial.
