DIY Firewood Canvas Tote

June 4, 2014
Father’s Day is right around the corner. If you are like us and love to sit by the fire year round, then this firewood canvas tote craft might be just up your alley. We love giving gifts that are lovely and functional!
I used duck cloth (a thick canvas) from the fabric store along with a couple of birch branches. It came together in no time at all with a very simple design. For those non-sewers out there, I think you could use strong fabric glue.

It is very easy to load. Simply unfurl the ends and load the middle up with split wood.

Lift and go! I think my husband is going to love having this handy for those multiple trips from the woodpile to the backyard fire pit this summer.  For the entire tutorial, take a peek at my HGTV Gardens post.
