Teacup Gardens for Mother’s Day

teacup gardens
This Mother’s Day why not craft sweet little teacup gardens for her to place on her windowsill, on the bedside table, or in the garden? I love to get creative in the garden. My mother in-law loves to garden but tells me she does not have a very green thumb. I keep encouraging her year after year and she does much better than she knows. These sweet teacups will be the perfect addition for her windowsill.
Check out your local thrift store, rummage sales, and antique centers for vintage teacups. I picked these each up for twenty-five cents. They’ll make perfect teacup gardens.

These sweet little gardens can be filled with succulents, annuals, herbs, or your favorite miniature plantings. The possibilities are endless. They also make a simple family gardening craft for the kids to get involved in.

To learn how to make these teacup gardens of your own and their sweet little twig tags, head on over to HGTV Gardens for the entire tutorial.
