I don’t have hands that are soft as a baby’s bottom. My hands are continually used and I am rough on them. I get them dirty in the garden, in the chicken coop, at work and with the kids. I wash my hands a lot. There are are times that I treat myself to a manicure, but my manicures are short lived. Inevitably, the polish begins to chip away the next day.
This winter, I decided to work on daily pampering, even if it is only for a minute or two. It started with this sinful home made body butter. Making this body butter was actually quite a simple process. In fact, it only has three ingredients: coconut oil, jojoba oil, and cocoa butter and it smells just like those chocolate coconut Girl Scout cookies! Did I mention that it is also vegan?
The body butter itself is light and airy. In fact, I whipped it up in the kitchen mixer.
I placed it in sweet glass jars. It even looks delicious.
The best part about this body butter is that it immediately begins to melt into your skin. A little dab will do you and keep rubbing. You’ll be surprised to see your skin drink it up.You can find the full tutorial on how to make this body butter over on HGTV Gardens. So please pay a visit and leave a comment. I read those there too!
