Floral Pins

January 15, 2014

This week I’m sharing my latest craft for HGTV Gardens. My early 2014 assignments had to do with weddings. Taking inspiration from the gardens and my daughter’s tutu, I decided to make a craft that is not just for weddings. I created this versatile clip that can be featured in the hair, on the wrist, pinned to a dress, or even on a lapel. I have never liked the idea of wearing a dress, or accessory for only one day, so you can do what I have done here. I skipped the wedding and added this flower to my jean jacket. You certainly don’t have to have a wedding to make these. There is nothing like getting a few good friends together over a bottle of wine, chatting and crafting together! Head on over to HGTV Gardens for all of my step-by-step photographed directions.
