I was sent a copy of this wonderful cookbook from Sasquatch Books for review. Instantly, I fell in love with the photography and author, Lara Ferroni. She is after my heart! Finally, here’s a gal who appreciates eggs and all their glory as much as I do.
This cook book is filled with a beautiful “how-to” section in the beginning. Everything that you wanted to know about cooking eggs is covered. Next, it’s onto seventy delicious egg recipes! There are traditional eggs to even creative ones like eggs on hot dogs. I must also add that there are many recipes that call for less than ten ingredients. I love that! Lara makes cooking eggs appear easy, approachable, and for any level cook. I myself can’t wait to try the frozen strawberry souffle, the chicken and egg pot pie, and the shakshuka.

MMM, eggs are one of our favorite quick meals. We eat them every day for breakfast and sometimes for dinner as well. I come from South America and they love to use eggs in creative ways in their cooking. Love your chickens – so pretty!

Oh, eggs are one of my favourite foods! The gal at our farmer's market even commented on this today when I picked up my usual 3 dozen *blush*. I'd love this book! Jen *at* LibertyImagesPhotography-dot-com. Thanks for the opportunity!

This is one occasion I wish I didn't live in Australia. This book looks awesome. I am all about eggs at the moment. Supermarket chain Woolworths has just announced that they will phase out all caged chickens (eggs) over the next 5 years. I am going to dedicate a post to eggs this week and this book would have been awesome!
I hope they release this book there, might it be available as an ebook?
Yummy looking ideas. My flock ranges in age but 3 are giving daily. Okay so one has a habit of throwing the odd double yolk, but they are good and bright. This would give me new ideas past sunny side up or scrambled. 🙂 dpaterson1@comcast.net
Looks great! Thank you for the giveaway 🙂
I can always use more ideas on how to eat eggs – I love them. Thanks for the chance to win. 🙂

HELP! I am desperate for egg recipes. My chickens are over productive and I have 6 dozen eggs in my fridge. My neighbors and friends don't need anymore and I think they are beginning to ignore me. I need ideas to use eggs and fast! The book looks like a good first step. Sheesh, they told me 6 chickens would be a steady flow, not a coup (no pun intended – well, perhaps)
Off topic, but this chicken story will melt you, I promise! I've been reading their blog for years, first finding them as my own hoser was going blind. Anyhow, I think you'll find this story worth a click!
