I am beginning to share what I have been up to behind the scenes. I have been writing a book.
Lately, most days have been consumed with my book. It is on my mind constantly. There is so much that I want to share, tell and explain in the pages. My manuscript deadline is fast approaching. It is just weeks away. I have so much to do, chapters to complete, photos to choose, mock-up illustrations, editing of the pages, proofreading and placing some last minute details on the manuscript. I hope you will bear with me as these last few weeks come racing toward me. I have so much to tell you about the book but I can’t; not yet at least but soon, I promise. My publisher has me keeping quiet in regards to the details.
For now, I hope you will enjoy the gorgeous Dahlia bouquet that my dear friend, Deb gave me. She knows that I have been writing and have neglected being outside, in the gardens among the blooms where I belong. Her bouquet is her way of bringing the beauty of her garden to me. I find the blooms, hypnotic, intoxicating and delightful. They are definitely an inspiration, just what this writer needed.

You go girl! Dahlia's are a very inspirational flower to me. Each blossom is magnificent and so eloquent. Dahlias remind me that we all have something brilliant and special to offer the world… Can't wait for the release of your book! I know you've been working hard and it's going to be fabulous, just like you! So happy you are enjoying a little bit of my garden on your windowsill! Hugs! Deb
Beautiful Dahlias! I grow several colors/sizes and absolutely love them! Good luck finishing up your book! That's my next project, so any details you want to share will be consumed voraciously! lol

What beautiful flowers! A very thoughtful gift. I wish you luck in the final stages of your book and can't wait to hear more about it when the time comes for you to divulge all the information 🙂
I am so excited. Can't wait to add it to my shelf.
