This week, I made some simple outdoor lanterns for the Fourth of July holiday this week over HGTV Gardens. Click here for the instructions. The kids helped with this project and we had a blast. They even want to take these lanterns when we go watch the fireworks this year. I thought that was a great idea!
And to think, it all started with a trip to Home Depot one afternoon to purchase a new garden hose. Some of my best crafting inspiration comes from the most unexpected places.

The lanterns are so cute! Once we get settled in our house, I'll have to make some. Thanks for the idea.
Good morning and happy hump day! I loved that post on growing squash (#2), very informative! I added one this week full of pictures of our future homestead. Enjoy the rest of your week! I'll be back soon! – Vickie
Trimming your chicken's toenails..is it as hard as cutting your dogs's nails:)
Yes, I do think it is similar to doing a dog's nails. That being said, I think most local vets would do it for you.
