Just around the corner is the 139th year of the Kentucky Derby. This year, I created a simple easy centerpiece that makes me think about the hallmarks of this iconic race.
From the horses, to the red roses, mint juleps and the traditional red roses quilt,
this arrangement incorporates them all.

Looks Beautiful
Classic and Beautiful! I have always wanted to go to the Kentucky Derby! Hopefully one day! Would you link this up to our blog hop? I think our readers would love it!

Simple and elegant. Love it.
Subject change. I have one pullet about 9 weeks old now, who likes to walk "low." She walks that way for a while, then pops up to "normal" height. I checked her legs and they appear to be OK, but why in the world would a chicken want to be a low-rider?
Oh Cindy, that is so interesting, I don't know why either. Wish I had an answer for you.
One of my favorite crafts so far, Melissa!
Thank you Mallory! I am so glad to say that I love what I do for work and love being part of the HGTV family.
