While out free ranging this past Spring, Tilly found an oak branch and took it with her all over the gardens. It was so funny to watch as she dragged it from place to place.

We have had chickens for about 11 months and thoroughly enjoy them. I came across your blog in searching for information about chickens as we know very little. Anyway the other day our cat was munching on some leftover meat on a cooked chicken leg. Of course the ladies are all curious and if the cat is eating they will always check to see if it is something they would like. So Scrambled came up and took the leg from the cat and the chase that ensued with the other six chasing after her trying to get her treat away from her was very funny. Something about seeing her running around with a long leg bone while the cat sat complaining that once again the ladies had got the best of him.
