November 2, 2011
Food Bits

I love to cook and I love cookbooks.  I recently was in one of my favorite stores, Anthropologie, and came across this lovely cookbook.  The author, Janice Cole, takes you on her journey of raising backyard chickens,  interlacing her stories with 125 delicious recipes.  I was so excited, I purchased two.  One for me and one for a giveaway.  Here is how to win:

  1. I am not a very good cook so I need a cookbook but I really love the idea of reading about people's lives with their chickens.

Like Miss Pink, I follow on FB, and your blog.

    Good Luck everyone!

  2. Does it count as an extra vote if I'm a fan twice on FB? One as me (Shannon Ezell Thompson) and again as my farm (Rogue Wild Farm) ;o)

    I also follow your blog.

This book sounds like it'd be a great read, almost reminds me of Jenna Woginrich's books. Keeping my fingers crossed!

  3. Oh! I need this cookbook. We are just weeks away from seeing our first eggs and already, I'm trying to come up with different things I can use them for.

I follow on here and on FB. Thanks for the fun giveaway!

  4. I love your blog. I am dying to have and raise some chickens of my own, but the city won't allow them. So I am just waiting for the day that we can sell the house and move to where we can have some chickens and goats, etc. I also just became a fan on facebook. 🙂 mepwhitley at gmail dot com

  5. Oh, it looks like a lovely book…I'd be thrilled to win! My address should be attached to my name, but if it is not…my blog is here and there's a "contact" button on the left-hand side of the screen. 🙂
