Hello Friends! I’m excited to share that I will be presenting all weekend at the Country Living Fair and I have a pair of tickets to giveaway! Included in the giveaway are two weekend passes that get you all access to the fair including 2 early bird entries! So come on down and enjoy the fair. I’ll be presenting on chickens, bees, and gardening. It’s always a blast and I’d love to meet you! Plus I’ll be signing my book.
This past weekend, I spent four beautiful days in the Hudson Valley of New York state. Each June the town of Rhinebeck hosts the Country Living Fair. This fair is absolutely amazing. It is as if all the things you love about Country Living Magazine have sprung to life! I was invited to speak at the fairs again this year.
Hello friends! I am just thrilled to announce that I am giving away 4 weekend passes to the Country Living Fair coming up on June 5 through 7th at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds located in Rhinebeck, New York in the gorgeous Hudson Valley. Each pass is valued at $40 and includes the early bird admission. This will be my second time attending this fair and it is not to be missed! There are tons of amazing vendors, food, presentations, book signings, and meet and greets.
This past weekend, I decided to make the trip to Rhinebeck, New York for the Country Living Fair. As my in-laws live three hours away from my home on Cape Cod, this was the perfect place to make for a home base with the family. Rhinebeck is only about an hour and a half drive from where they live. It made for a perfect day trip. I woke up early this past Saturday morning and arrived early enough to take advantage of the early bird admission. I ended up with lots of goodies. I saw old friends and made some new ones. I must say that I have never in my life attended an event where everyone was so incredibly nice. From the vendors to the patrons like me, I saw well-behaved children, polite manners, considerate folks, and helpful strangers. It felt really good to be in their company.
I was able to reconnect with Cooper Boone. It was as if we picked up where we never left off!
I meet Josh and Brent, The Beekman Boys. I must say I just adore these two. Following their journey has been amazing and they are a huge inspiration to me.
I also reconnected with Sarah Gray Miller, the editor of Country Living Magazine. I wanted to thank her and her staff for all of the windows and doors that opened for me after winning their Blue Ribbon Blogger Award two years ago.
So what did I bring home? Here are my favorites!
An entirely collapsible egg basket
A miniature egg basket perfect for little eggs and hands
Some sweet egg baskets
An old margarine crate that screamed good luck
and a wonderful old wire urn for my Rabbit Foot Fern
There are three more Country Living Fairs happening this later this year in
Columbus~Ohio, Atlanta~Georgia, and Austin~Texas.
