DIY Summer Lanterns

This week, I made some simple outdoor lanterns for the Fourth of July holiday this week over HGTV Gardens. Click here for the instructions. The kids helped with this project and we had a blast.  They even want to take these lanterns when we go watch the fireworks this year.  I thought that was a great idea!

And to think, it all started with a trip to Home Depot one afternoon to purchase a new garden hose. Some of my best crafting inspiration comes from the most unexpected places.

  • Trimming your chicken's it as hard as cutting your dogs's nails:)

    • Yes, I do think it is similar to doing a dog's nails. That being said, I think most local vets would do it for you.
